Improbable Fiction by Alan Ayckbourn
Improbable Fiction by Alan Ayckbourn is a comedy set in and an old country house where a group of amateur creative writers have their regular meetings. Unfortunately they all have reasons why their efforts are not progressing very far. The host suggests that they combine their efforts to write a single story, this is quickly rejected and as the gloom increases a brewing thunderstorm arrives and with a flash of lightening every thing changes. The individual stories being written suddenly come to life and intertwine with each other providing comedy which borders on farce, the intensity increasing to the final climax.
